The organization of Lidl São Silvestre de Lisboa informs that the start of the 10K Race has changed to 9:30 pm on Saturday, December 30, 2023.

The thirty-minute adjustment to the starting time (it was initially scheduled for 9:00 pm) comes in conjunction with the Lisbon City Council, with the aim of guaranteeing the best functioning of the city of Lisbon in all its valences (commerce, restaurants, hotels, cultural, leisure and sports spaces, transport, residents) during the day, minimizing the repercussions/limitations in Baixa Pombalina (Lisbon Downtown) and in the areas surrounding the course of the race, on the last weekend before Christmas, a period with a high flow of people to this location for Christmas shopping.

The partial traffic cut road at the end of Av. da Liberdade will be at 7:30 pm, two hours before race start, when set-ups will take place in the starting/finish line, next to Restauradores Sq.

HMS Sports would like to thank you for your understanding and would like to count on your participation on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 9:30 pm, so that together we can run to the pace of the capital!

Unfortunately, and for unavoidable reasons, we will have to change the date, time and location of Clube Pelicas São Silvestre da Pequenada (Kids Race).

As determined by the Lisbon City Council, the Lidl São Silvestre de Lisboa 10K Race will take place on December 17th 2022, at 9:30 pm. This change to the starting time is related to the purpose of guaranteeing the best functioning of the city of Lisbon in all its valences in all its valences (commerce, restaurants, hotels, cultural, leisure and sports spaces, transport, residents) during the day, minimizing the repercussions/limitations in Baixa Pombalina (Lisbon Downtown) and in the areas surrounding the course of the race, on the last weekend before Christmas, a period with a high flow of people to this location for Christmas shopping.

This way, according to the schedules, holding the Clube Pelicas São Silvestre da Pequenada before the 10K Race would not be achievable. But we didn't give up and found a solution!

To provide a good experience to all the children of Clube Pelicas São Silvestre da Pequenada, the competition will take place in a new date, time and place: December 10, 2022, 11:30 am, Keil do Amaral Amphitheater, Monsanto Park (Lisbon).

Right now, Clube Pelicas São Silvestre da Pequenada has more than 300 children registered and we want to count on all of them on December 10, 2022, at 11:30 am, in Monsanto Park. However, for children who cannot be present at the event on the new date (December 10, 2022), the child tutor can request a refund of the registration by email until December 4th, 2022 – info@saosilvestredelisboa.com – mentioning the race bib number and the bank account number.
