El Corte Inglés São Silvestre de Lisboa is an event organized by Clube Olímpico de Oeiras, with the support of Lisbon's city hall. The technical organization of the event is provided by HMS SPORTS Consulting Ltd.

Ribeira das Naus – turn left to Praça do Comércio – Rua da Prata – Rua da Betesga - Praça D. Pedro IV (Rossio) – Praça dos Restauradores – Av. da Liberdade – return at Praça Marquês de Pombal – Av. da Liberdade – Praça dos Restauradores - Finish.
El Corte Inglés São Silvestre de Lisboa (10K) – liquid supply at 5 km; liquid and solid supply at the finish line.
Clube Pelicas São Silvestre da Pequenada (Kids Race) - liquid and solid supply at the finish line.
The main race - El Corte Inglés São Silvestre de Lisboa (10K) - must be completed in 2 hours after the start. At 7:30 pm the traffic will be restored.

The registration fees of the Clube Pelicas São Silvestre da Pequenada Race (Kids Race) will go straight to the Centro Sagrada Família social solidarity institution.
Online: only through ATM references automatically generated after submitting the registration form or through VISA. The ATM references will expire 72 hours later. After that time, the reference will no longer work and you'll need to submit a new registration to get a new/valid reference.
In person: in El Corte Inglés Lisboa you can use cash or VISA.
The organization may, at any time and without notice, hold/extend the deadlines or add/limit the number of entries depending on technical / structural availabilities.
Your entry is not transferable.
In order to run the 10K, you need to be at least 18 years old when the event takes place - regulation of the FPA - Portuguese Athletics Federation.
There is a maximum amount of 50 GOLD entries. The GOLD registrations include: easy and free parking, access to the guest lounge, welcome kit, race kit pickup at the guest's lounge on the race day, locker room, start in front (Elite B, right behind the top athletes) and massage at the finish.
500 runners (for children born between 2005 and 2013).
Entries will be closed as soon as the defined slots are filled.
The El Corte Inglés São Silvestre de Lisboa athlete's kit consists of a long sleeve technique, a disposable chip, a dorsal, pins, tie and various offerings from the partners of the event.
The GOLD registration at El Corte Inglés São Silvestre de Lisboa includes easy parking, access to the guest area, welcome kit, collection of the athlete kit in the guest area on the day of the race (composed of a technical longsleeve, a chip, a dorsal, pins, ties and various offerings from sponsors), locker room, privileged start in Elite B and massage at the end of the race.
The kit of the Pelicas São Silvestre Clube da Pequenada consists of a long sleeve unisex technique (sizes 4, 8, 12 and 16 years), two dorsals (one for the athlete and one for the caretaker), pins and offers of the event's partners.
The organization guarantees all athletes a t-shirt. The sizes available for the São Silvestre de Lisboa will be: XS Woman, S Woman, M Woman, L Woman, XL Woman, XS Man, S Man, M Man, L Man and XL Man.

The length of each long sleeve t-shirt will be chosen in the race entry form. The measures of each size can also be found on the application form.
At the time of delivery of the participation kit, size exchange of long sleeve t-shirts will not be accepted.
If stock is available after the event, the organization will make the exchange.
To do so, you'll need to show:
There will be no race/packet pickup at the event place.
The organization will keep the race kits which weren't picked up for 15 days after the event.
To claim your race kit, you should get in touch with us.
Runners will have to pay the shipping costs of these race kits.
If you don't claim your race kit after the established period, it will be donated to a social institution.
The finishers kits will only be available for the runners that cross the finish line.
The use of your official race bib is mandatory and it must be placed in the t-shirt's front, using the provided pins.
The race bib is not transferable.
The organization will disqualify all runners that:
All runners without their race bib will not be allowed to be on the race course and will not have access to the finish line.
All registered runners in El Corte Inglés São Silvestre de Lisboa (10K) must use the timing chip provided in the race kit.
The timing chip will be placed on the back of your dorsal, is encoded specifically for you and it is not transferable. The chip timing system is disposable and you don't need to return it at the end of the race.
The chip timing system reading will only be possible if you place it as instructed. If the timing chip is taken off or removed by the athlete, the athlete will not be classified.
The organization can't be held responsible by any timing failure if the chip isn't placed accordingly to the provided instructions.
The organization will disqualify all runners who:
The top three men and women of the El Corte Inglés São Silvestre de Lisboa will be awarded with trophies (only the general classification will be taken into account).
There are no prizes per category.
The male and female winners of the Cofidis – Campeões do Último Quilómetro - will receive an awesome weekend in one of the most luxurious hotels in Portugal. The prize includes two nights with breakfast, for two people.
The athlete ranked in the 111th position, based on absolute rating, will receive a Garmin watch with GPS and integrated pulse meter Forerunner 645. The announcement of the winner will be made on Facebook and Instagram of El Corte São Silvestre de Lisboa after the final results. The winner will be contacted by the organization to receive the prize.
All participants who pickup the kit will be given a tech long sleeve, a timing chip and various offerings from the sponsors.
All participants who finish the race will be awarded with a medal, among other gifts.
The download of an electronic participation diploma will be available for all participants on the event website.
Everyone can be part of this race, regardless of their nationality or sex, as long as they are registered and have accepted our terms and policy.
For the everyone's safety, it is not allowed to take part of the race with bicycles, animals, skateboards or wheelchairs. The organization does not advise the participation in baby strollers.
It is mandatory that runners are at least 18 years old by the time the event takes place - regulation of the FPA - Portuguese Athletics Federation.

* For runners who were born until 1984, the age group is determined by the year they were born. For runners who were born after 1981, the age group is determined by the exact age they have at the time the event takes place.
On race day, runners must carry an ID (any official document that proves your age. i.e. passport) in case it's needed to check their age.
These age groups are determined by the year the child was born, not the exact age he/she has at the time the event takes place.

Runners are registered accordingly to their their personal best based in a 10K race from the previous year.

In order to start from ELITE B, SUB45, SUB50 and SUB60, must be presented a running time record equal to or less than 37:30, 45, 50 or 60 minutes, respectively, in a 10K race within the last year.
The running time must be sent to info@saosilvestredelisboa.com, with the bib number and name of the athlete until December 2nd, 2018.
The running time submitted after December 2nd, 2018 will not be considered.
All GOLD runners will start in ELITE B area.
This start area is limited to 150 runners and 50 of those entries are reserved for GOLD registrations.
The first 100 registered runners with a chip time less than or equal to 37:30 minutes will have access to Elite B start area. For that, a running time record within the last year is needed.
In order for the runners to enjoy the course, the start is also divided by waves. This means that there will be three different starts so that the course is not too crowded.
The chip time will only be activated after crossing the start line which means that regardless of the wave you start in, your chip time will not be affected. Besides, the results ranking will be sorted by chip time.

All runners should line up at their start areas until 5:30 pm. The start areas doors will be closed at 5:30 pm. If you arrive after this time, you need to go the +60 start area, the only one that will remain open.
The chip time will only be activated when the athlete passes the starting line, as such, the fact of leaving the second or third wave does not imply a penalty to the running time.
The final classification will be sorted according to the chip timing system, but we will also make the chip time available.
The organization guarantees all registered runners in the El Corte Inglés São Silvestre de Lisboa (10K), who collect their race kits, a chip timing system.
The chip is placed on the dorsal of the athlete and is coded, being personal and non-transferable.
The chip can not be detached or removed. If the chip is taken off or removed by the athlete, the athlete will not be classified. The chip timing system is disposable and you don't need to return it at the end of the race.
The chip timing system reading will only be possible if you place it as instructed.
The organization is committed to choose the best course, so that runners safety is guaranteed. However, it is not responsible for the pavement condition or obstacles that may appear during the course.
The course is approved by the official public entities.
The organization will disqualify runners who:
HMS Sports won't accept runners who have an unsporting behavior in its future races.
The police will be responsible for managing the traffic in the official course.
The course will reopen to cars 2 hours after the start.
The organization will provide medical support at the start/finish line and during the course.
If there is need for extra medical care, runners will be redirected to the National Health Service.
The medical staff will have the authority to remove from the race any runner that is not fit to run.
Complaints must be made in accordance with the rules of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) and the Portuguese Athletics Federation (FPA), adding a €50 fee to the complaint file. This amount will be deposited until the complaint is solved. The amount will be refunded if the complaint is justified.
Any complaint must be filed in writing using an official paper provided by the organization and until the end of the event.
When registering, all participants accept this regulation and, in case of doubt or a situation that is not covered by it, they must inform the organization.
Upon registration, all participants agree to accept this Regulation.

The personal data will be processed automatically, according to the terms approved by the General Regulation of Data Protection of the European Union, by the organization of the event, entity responsible for the data, exclusively for the provision of the services necessary for participation in the event in which it is registered.
The processing of data for communication about the event in which it subscribes, communication of other events and services of HMS Sports Consulting and communication of HMS Sports Consulting partners is optional and is subject to specific consent and expressed in the event registration form, always in accordance with Directive 95/46/EC of April 27th, 2016.
Participants are guaranteed, under the terms of the same law, access to their data, and may request it by writing to the organization to update, correct or delete it.
The personal data collected in this event will be stored for a period of two years and are accessible free of charge for consultation, rectification or deletion by email: geral@hmssports.pt
Runners must be aware of their health conditions in order to guarantee their wellbeing during the race, exempting the organization, its partners, supporters and others involved in the event from any liability.
The organization ensures a personal insurance, as referred in CR/7/2013 (AAL Sports Insurance - Season 2013/2014) with a reimbursement value of €27.087,00 in case of death or disability; treatment expenses up to €4.335,00; and up to €2.167,00 in case of funeral expenses.
The organization ensures a personal insurance, as referred in CR/7/2013 (AAL Sports Insurance - Season 2013/2014) with a reimbursement value of 10% of €27.087,00 in case of death or disability; treatment expenses up to €4.335,00; and up to €2.167,00 in case of funeral expenses.
The organization is not responsible for any situations that are not covered by this insurance policy.
By taking part in El Corte Inglés São Silvestre de Lisboa (10K) or in Clube Pelicas São Silvestre da Pequenada (Kids Race), runners unconditionally authorize that HMS Sports Consulting and its partners use their image. All image rights - photos or filming - regarding his/hers participation in the event belong to HMS Sports.
All images may be used by the organization for promoting purposes and are free of charge.
HMS Sports Consulting reserves the right to use the database with runner's personal data, collected through the registration form for promotional activities.
Runners are able to refuse the use of their personal data in registration form by choosing the option "Deny authorization".
The registration fee is not reimbursed.
However, until December 2nd, 2018, the participant can transfer his or her bib and timing chip to another person as long as this request is formally done, by writing to the organization - info@saosilvestredelisboa.com. If the participant does not inform the organization of such situation, the organization will not be responsible for any accident or damage that may occur with the athlete.
The organization reserves the right to change the scheduled programe or to cancel the event due to Acts of God, for safety considerations or if required to do so by official orders. In such cases, the promoter shall not be liable to compensate participants for any losses incurred.
In these cases, the organization reserves the right to answer before all runners within 30 days.
The organization has a support line that is available from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
