The Praça D. Pedro IV, known as Praça do Rossio, is located in the historical area of Lisbon, near the train station and the D. Maria II Theatre. Here lies the heart of São Silvestre de Lisboa, where athletes will departure and arrive. This will be an unique moment for a all running lovers.

Before the main race, São Silvestre Kids will star. Dedicated to children between 5 and 11 years old, its course will be reduced, departuring and arriving at Rossio. This initiative wants to enhance the importance of sports, especially on fighting against child obesity in Portugal, which carries serious consequences in adult life.

All the registration fees of São Silvestre Kids will be entirely donated by its organization to a charity institution.
